Chaitanya is now a high school teacher!

Chaitanya is a graduate hailing from a middle class family in Hyderabad. Her father is a sales representative, who supports his family of five on a monthly salary of Rs. 2,000/- (~$ 50).

She dreamed of becoming computer literate, so she could supplement the family income. She was apprehensive about joining the Computer Training Centre run by HOPE, because she is not fluent in English, and thought that would be the medium of instruction.

The faculty at HOPE helped her overcome her fears, and she learned the basics of DOS, Windows, MS-Office and the Internet from HOPE. Her confidence also improved, and she has now joined the faculty of M.H. Gupta High School on a monthly salary of Rs. 3,000 (~$ 75), where she teaches computers to the students.

She is very happy about the training she received from HOPE, because at one time she thought computers were tough to learn but now she is teaching it to others! She says “All these things happened just because of HOPE!”
