Naveen Kumar Goud* is 17 years old and lives in Bhatjinagar, Falakunama, Hyderbad. He is in in Inter-First year (Aliya College), where he obtained 71% (A-grade) and will finish college this year in March 2012.
His father, Venkatesh works as an rickshaw driver earning 150 – 200 rupees ($3-$4) per day, whenever he finds work. His mother, K. Sangeetha, is a house wife. He has one younger brother in 10th grade. The family struggles hard to make ends meet.
Naveen wants to start contributing to the family income, but he knows that his chances of getting a good job are bleak unless he is computer literate.
Your donations, Molly, Ron, and Joe and Karen, of a month of computer training each, made it possible for HOPE Foundation to offer a three month computer course to Naveen. He is a very quick learner, and is confident of getting a good job at the end of the course. His dream is to get a job in a bank.
Thank you, Molly, Ron, and Joe and Karen, for helping Naveen acquire the skills that would help him in earning a livelihood.
