Fareeda Begum wants to stand on her own two feet

Fareeda Begum
Dear Eileen, George, and Dean and Julie,

Seventeen year old Fareeda Begum is the youngest of four daughters. Her father passed away, and her mother is a home-maker. Since all her sisters are married, Fareeda and her mother have to depend on their extended family to support them. Though girls from her conservative Muslim community do not go in for higher studies and/ or outside employment, Fareeda is determined to stand on her own feet and look after her mother.

She is enrolled in a local college, but realizes that in order to get a decent job, she would need to learn to use computers. The staff at HOPE Computer Training Centre were moved by her heart rendering story and gave her admission into the course.

Your donations, Dean and Julie, Eileen and George, have ensured that her computer course fees would be taken care of.  Fareeda is doing well in her course and aspires to get employed in a good firm soon so she can support herself and her mother.

Thank you, for your timely help and support
