Swetha is determined to prove she is no less than a son

D. Swetha in the HOPE Computer Training Center
Dear Mary Ellen and Jim, Craig, and Eddie,

Seventeen year old D. Swetha is a sophomore at the Government Vocational Junior College in Nampally, Hyderabad.

Her father,  Dayanand, works in a shop and earns barely enough to support his big family of six members. Swetha has three sisters all of whom are also studying. Dayanand, like most other middle class men of his generation, always rues the fact that he doesn’t have a son who can support the family. Swetha is determined to prove that she is no less than a son.

She enrolled at the HOPE computer training center and is currently under training. She is a keen learner and is doing well in her academics and computer course.

Thank you, Edward, Craig, Mary Ellen and Jim for sponsoring Swetha’s computer training. Your support would help Swetha prove to her father that a daughter like her is worth several sons.
