Bhoolaxmi will become a Government Officer, someday!

bhoolaxmi
Dear Laurent,

Bhoolaxmi hails from a middle class family. Her father works as a farmer and earns a meager sum of Rs. 3,000 ($67) per month. Her  mother, Sarhamma works in the Muncipality, as a sweeper who cleans the streets and earns Rs. 2,500 ($56) per month. With this amount, they have to meet the family’s needs, save up for emergencies and also pay for Bhoolaxmi’s education.

Bhoolaxmi is a 9th grade student, studying in Andhra  Vidyalaya  School. Despite her poor economic background, she is a very ambitious girl and has set very high goals for herself. She wants to study and be equipped with essential skills that will help her find a job easily. She knows her parents are struggling to pay for both, her’s and her sister’s education and wants to earn enough to support them.

Bhoolaxmi got enrolled at the HOPE Foundation’s computer training center to learn computers and   Spoken English. She knows these are two very important skills, that any employer seeks. She is thoroughly enjoying her course and is positive of completing it.

When she got enrolled, she was not sure if her parents would be able to pay for her computer fees. But your generous donation, Laurent, enabled Hope Foundation to bear the cost of her computer course, because of which she was able to learn computers and Spoken English.

Bhoolaxmi aspires to become a government officer when she grows up and is very thankful to you, for your support, in helping her realize her dreams.

Thank you so much, Laurent!
